BARRIE 400'S
Barrie has a good highway. It is called the 400. Many people live in Barrie and drive to work in Toronto on the 400 highway. If the highway were not here, Barrie would be a small town. Barrie is growing.

BARRIE ADMIRALS
The City of Barrie was named after Sir Robert Barrie about 1832, at which time he was stationed in Kingston and in command of all the naval forces in Canada, having passed through Barrie on his journey for the annual inspection of the naval establishments at Penetanguishene.
