I did some work with pitching the other day, looking at stat totals for everything from pitches thrown to innings pitched... All of that info is here:

In there is also Wild Pitches. In the MLB, 2005 there were a total of 1,439 wild pitches. In my test season of the game there were 1,814. The game threw 375 more Wild Pitches than real MLB had in 2005.
There were 1,546 in 2003. 1,494 in 2002.
That's a considerable number more, but one season is not an overly good sample size. When I have more time I'm going to look at another season, but who knows when that will be.
