Ive reached my expansion year of 1886.
Im releasing all players that have their path blocked
(that is the green arrow right?)
Now should i make it so only th expansion teams can bid for free agents in an expansion year?

The other teams have enough players.
Even though i started in 1876 i edited some star players b-days like Cap Anson so he would come in at 18yrs
and i have the players from 1870-1875.
So not enough players isnt a problem.
