Funny you ask, since I saw this thread again and decided to give him a look (before reading this post). Just closed out the game, but I do remember he's still going strong at AA, hitting near .290 with 8HR (not much expected of him in the power dept. He's only got a potential of 8/20 (currently at 5 - according to one of my scouts). He's a bit of a liability in the field, with 28 errors in 750 defensive innings, but has an overall VORP of 33.8, which I don't think is too bad, since it's only July 10th of his first professional year.
I checked his monthly splits, and April was by far his worst month, hitting only .268. He's picked it up since then, and is hitting .310 in the first nine days in July.
I don't want to rush him, so he'll probably finish the year in AA, and start 1987 in AAA, with the possibility of amid-season call-up, unless he continues to hit, since I have has a deficiency so far at that position on my ML squad.
