I'm in the third year of my league and I've recently gotten double-lucky with some world scouting. First, just before the season, I was agonizing over the decline of my LF, wondering where I could find a replacement. In the last days of ST, one of my scouts found outfielder Sergio Aluando in Cuba. He's a 27 yo whose C/H/E is 7/7/6 (on a 1-10 scale). He's fit in nicely, putting up a .858 OPS in April (this is a very low offense league, and that's good enough for 10th best in the league for the month).

And, just now, as April draws to a close, a second of my starting pitchers went on the DL for an extended period, and I found myself digging deep into the very shallow talent pool in AAA. The next day the scout I had sent to Canada advises me of a 25 yo starter named Patrick Blanchet who is actually from, get this, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, which isn't really part of Canada, but a tiny French colony off the coast of Newfoundland. Cool. Anyway, he's pretty good too, with an S/M/C at 6/7/8 and a potential of 7/7/8.

My scouts did done good shucks.
