To be honest, I wish there was an option to turn pbp off and only show end result. That would suit my needs much better.
The pbp errors thread is stickied, it's the first post in Mods: pbp section.

I would assume that beta testers were looking more at the correct functionality of the game than the specific play by play. Which IMO is good, I'd much rather have the majority of the problems with the game (playing a game) be in the pbp text output than be in the actual on-field mechanics.

The pbp stuff is being dealt with in the Mods: pbp section, since a lot of it (not so much anymore though) can be fixed by the text team without having to TT problems to code development.
