Well, from what I'm reading, only 1 player went to the major league squad.
I'm guessing that the rest went to AAA, who were no longer playing or close to done playing. Probably just AI that says "must fill AAA, call up AA players".
The real question is, did the original AA guys get sent back to the AA team when the AA team played on through the playoffs and the AAA team packed it in for the year?
That would make the most sense.
