Pitching was an area of concern heading into the off-season, and we beefed it up for sure. Here are our signings:

SP Barry Zito, 27 years old
We signed Zito for $8m for two seasons, and he will be the #2 starter on our staff behind Romero. Zito has ratings of 8/8/9.

SP Ted Lilly, 30 years old
Lilly recieved a very cheap 3.5 million for the next two seasons, and has ratings of 8/7/8. He will be our #3 starter.

MR Justin Speier, 32 years old
We brought in Speier (8/7/8) as our best setup man, and let's hope he can do a good job.

Other notable signings:
3B Placido Polanco
3B Tony Graffanino
C Robert Fick
2B Pablo Ozuna

Amateur Draft
As expected there wasn't much to choose from in this class with the 5th overall pick. We wound up with 4 star CF Harold Hone, who has ratings of 6/7/9/7/7
