League Financials Not Calculating Correctly---This is Enough To Drive Me Up A Wall!!!
Ok, I am creating a league that contains realistic data for many leagues around the world in my MLB2006V3.0...
I carefully and painstakingly look up data for the various leagues and what their payrolls should be, how much money they should be spending, how much their media contracts should be, etc.
What happens when the league gets created? The financials that the league was originally set with are still being used. This is ridiculous. I spent a long time to get all this information, and it isnt even being used properly after being input. It appears the only time that financial information is used correctly is when a new league is created and it is entered from there. Otherwise, it seems that the old information is used, regardless of what info we enter.
An example is the Cuban Baseball League, where I set the media contract average to be $25,000 and the average player salaries to be in the $1800 range. Upon league creation, the players in the league are averaging the same as they are in the majors, and the average media contracts are like 25,000,000---just like they are initiailly with the game.
Whats even worse, is as far as I know, there is no way to use this league as the basis to create a new game and just edit out the leagues I need to re-create due to this not functioning the way it should be. So the only way it appears for me to fix this is to start all over again from scratch, and redo everything I have already done, which is another major point of irritation. What is the point of a quick start, if you cannot create a new league and add/remove leagues etc...There is really no difference between this and a regular game...
Anyways, I am majorly pissed now at wasting hours of my time because something isnt working the way it should be and it is gonna take me many hours to correct this because of the extremely poor implementation of league creation....AAAAARGGGHHHH!!!!
PS: Please fix this bug...
