PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburghers always love a good fireworks show.
Friday night, the 29,247 fans on hand at PNC Park were treated to two for the price of one as the Pittsburgh Pirates' bats upstaged the postgame festivities by unleashing a pyrotechnic display of their own in a 12-5 win over the visiting Houston Astros.
The Bucs' season-high 16-hit offensive attack was highlighted by a fourth inning in which they scored seven runs, hit three home runs and sent 11 men to the plate to overcome a 4-2 deficit.
