SEPTEMBER 15, 2006 - KING IS KING
P John King of my short season affiliate, the Spokane Indians, has won the pitching award for the Northwest League. He went 7-0, 1.24 ERA, has 45 K's to 21 walks, a WHIP of 0.82, and had an opponents' average of .169.
For his efforts, I'm going to promote him to Frisco (AA) for next season....I'll keep a close eye on him for AAA duty.
