The good things to come out of today's game were:
1 - Lennon looked as though he was always going to trouble the defense, and we could use his pace in the knockout round if we need something in the dying stages.
2 - Even though I wouldn't have played him, Rooney at least played came through with 35 minutes under his belt, and not injured.
3 - Crouch scored after missing about 20 chances, so at least he keeps trying and that's all you can ask.

The bad:
1 - Taking shots from outside the box and ballooning them over the bar is becoming repetitive and if you waste your chances in the later rounds you will be punished.
2 - Although he scored Crouch did miss about 20 times.
3 - Walcott didn't get a game again. I said he should go, but if he's not going to be picked, why did Eriksson take him?
4 - Lampard and Joe Cole had pretty poor games for the second game in a row.
5 - Owen is still nowhere near sharp enough to score goals in the knockout round.
6 - It took over 80 minutes to score against Trinidad & Tobago.

Well said..look for Fleet Street to take these considered points and amplify them a thousand times.

And things could be worse; you could be USA supporters.
