rwd, thanks for that info. I did a bunch of testing last night with the Garlon database, and Murph's stats were much more normal. The only problems I was seeing was guys like Ellis Valentine, Ken Phelps, Bob Horner, Greg Luzinski were having stats that were waaaaaaay to high. Luzinski had almost 600 homers at age 35 and Phelps, in his first two years in the league, had 64 and 69 homeruns. I can't seem to find a way to edit the batting ratings when I click on the player edit button. Phelps had 100 for patience/eye in his first year. Horner had 100 for power in his first year. Murphy started more normal in 1977 at contact of 23, power of 54, and eye of 41. To the other guy, I don't want to edit Murphy into Hank Aaron. I just want to get normal ratings more in touch with real life than him getting traded 4 times in his first 3 years and ending up as a 1 star outfielder every time.
