Glitches happen:
My just completed season saw the league's worst pitcher, in 278 innings, give up 9 runs, of which 234 were earned... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />
P.S. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the "Runs Allowed" stat resets at 255. Just a guess...
P.P.S. That pitcher was, and still is, scouted as a "No.2 or No. 3" starter. I'd be interested to see who that scout considers an "Average" or "Middle of the Pack" starter...
