Tiger, I thought in reading some other people's dynasties that when you combine a historical and fictional league, and set the draft to X number of rounds, that the difference is in created fictional players.
I have all leagues set to 10 rds draft. So I was hoping, say I get 90 historical players imported (3 rds worth), the other 7 rds in the MLB would be fictional players?
Also, I'm not sure if this will help, but I was hoping it would. Since neither the Japan or Mexico leagues have minors, they both have "reserve" rosters, that currently hold 20 players each. After a 10 rd draft, minor retirements and guys jumping to other leagues, I was figuring this number would go up 3-4 players per year. Thus, if any teams in the MLB (specifically the rookie league teams) needed roster filler, they could sign guys away from the other leagues, even if just minor league deals to the reserve players.
You have more experience than I do, as I'm sure you've tested out alot, so are either of these viable work arounds?
