On one hand... before this year, he really sucked. He's only been good for 2.5 months.
On the other, he always was supposed to have tremendous potential and was listed among the top prospects in baseball, and throughout this year hasn't slowed down.

I was wondering about him specifically as well. He called up the majors a bit early imo and it was too much for him. He did win the batting title in Winter Ball which had some very very good hitters. I think this year he finally has the confidence playing in the WBC and its showing at the plate.
He has made an adjustment in his batting stance as well, he used to have some movement now he is really silent at the plate. All in all, last year I thought he would be a bust but watching him play some this year he has the confidence and the tools be a great 5 tool guy. Not to mention one of the best arms in the league.
