As of June 12, 1988, Bonds is leading the NL in HRs. Aaron is in third. Ruth is not in top 3.

As of June 27, 1988, Bonds and Aaron are tied. Ruth is not in top 3.

As of Sept 1, 1988, Ruth is the only one in top 3.
