Being from the midwest originally I would have pronounced it NOR folk, but being away from there for a while has changed it some. Just like Louisville is no longer Lou ee vil, but Lou a vul. Norfolk is now Nor fuk, but I guess I have to start pronouncing it differently when I go there.

My hometown is always mispronounced by "outsiders" who assume WE don't know how to pronounce it right!
I learned about Louisville about 10 years ago from a guy who used to live there. Haven't seen him in about 9 years either LOL...
