I, being a veteran of at least 35 or more played out seasons with V6 & 6.5, have also gone through mixed emotions. I was very excited about the product and VERY used to the old one. Obviously, the new game has a depth unlike nothing else and will be phenomenal once all the bugs are worked out. In general, though, I do think the older game was easier to navigate. Everything seemed to be in the right order. In this game, it seems to be everywhere which makes it more complicating.
As a last example, I loaded up both games and asked my wife what she thought of the games having never played either one. She thought the older one looked more organized and nicer and the newer to crowded with too much going on with some of the pages. But what do women know about baseball anyway??
