I was getting these crashes after following the instructions on page 51 of the Game Guide, which is section 2.0, "Jump Right In!".
After getting frustrated with the crashes I deleted this league and used one of the two quick start leagues. From then on, no crashes  and the action button worked fine. So it is related to something that is there (or not there  ) in the quick start. I suspect that perhaps following the instructions on page 51 sets up a situation where some needed data is not generated and so there's a crash when the program looks for this. Or maybe I'm just crazy . Anyway, you folks might want to make a cautionary mention of this. |
