I'm seeing most of the bitching out here isn't about the "new" stuff or, even, some of the extreme deviations from the old. Much of the complaining is about bugs and much needed programming clean up. It is justifiable criticism and I'm also tired of all the crusaders out here that scream and whine everytime a legitimate problem is noted.

I realize that this game is not merely an evolution of OOTP 6.5 but a completely retooled revamped game that has it's own identity that barely resembles the old. However, that does not excuse all the many bugs mentioned. I've played the game for about an hour and have seen several anomalies that have really compromised my playing experience (I've mentioned several in threads). I expect many of these will be addressed.

I started playing OOTP at version 3. Guess that means 5 purchases if you include 6.5? This is the first Markus title that I really wished I had waited to purchase. The bugs I've encountered make the playability cumbersome at best. I could have waited a couple weeks for a patch that may have cleaned up the programming flaws.

So, my point is this...those of you that feel compelled to lash out at the critics should really mind your own business. These forums are set up for a free exchange of information, ideas, and group problem solving. Not talking about the bugs does NOT make them go away.
