and while boone did lead the majors for SB by a 3B, i forgot that 3B was a speed position and that your 3B is your big steals guy.... Nobody really says speed has to be a certain position. You need your steals from somewhere, correct? And 25/25 from 3B, most teams will take. While I do not think Boone is great, I do think he is an average 3B ... which right now is a starter in the majors due to the non-depth of the position. Now, he also played some games at Shortstop, and if he produces the same in his shift over to Second, then maybe he's an asset overall. It all depends on how the other 2B produce on whether he's an offensive asset at the position or not. And I do expect Larson to put up average numbers at the position this year - if he can stay away from injuries. But as you pointed out, only 9 3B had an OPS above .800, that's not even 33%.
