I agree. Sanchez was a complete fighter. Despite his accomplishments, he may not have even been at his prime yet when he died.
I remember when Nelson (who was a virtual unknown at the time) gave Sanchez such a tough fight there were grumblings that Sanchez was overrated. Nelson had less than 15 fights at the time and hadn't fought anyone of much note. On his record, no one thought he deserved a title shot and it was expected to be a short fight.
Of course, those grumblings disappeared as Nelson's career advanced.
