As I said earlier this is a 9 league 112 team dynasty. The largest baseball dysnasty attempted in OT. This post will detail the leagues in the universe and give you an idea of what sort of universe it will be.

Western Baseball Association
16 teams split into two leagues and four divisions. Top 2 teams from each division advance to the playoffs.
This is the premiere league in the WBU. The WBA consists of the top teams from the largest and most important cities from the Mississippi to the Pacific Ocean.
The players are the best and the saleries are the highest. Quite simply is the best baseball played outside of the top Eastern leagues. If your player is going to be a true legend, then this is where they will hope to end up.

League eqivelency will be 1.00

WBA Reserves
16 teams split into two leagues and four divisions. Top 2 teams from each division advance to playoffs.
While it does serve under the WBA, this is not a true farm league. It acts much as its name suggests, as a reserve league for the big show itself. This is a place for players who are just a step away from the top leagues and as a place for talented youngsters who need to sharpen their skills.
This league in recent years has attracted larger and larger crowds as the quality of play improves.
League eqivelency will be .85

WBA Junior League
16 teams split into two leagues. Top 2 teams in each league advance into the playoffs
True farm system of the WBA. It is here that the draft picks of the WBA teams send their players to start their careers as professional baseball players. Baseball is of high quality and here the megastars of the WBA begin the ascent to the level of heroes and gods.
League eqivelency will be .60

Frontier Baseball League
12 teams split into two leagues. Top two teams from each league advance to playoffs.
This league started out as a rough and tumble semi-pro league and has evolved into a fledgling pro league. Centered in the North Central US and Western Canada this league is still a league of ruffians and firebrands but the quality of play is high and some of the biggest stars move on to more prestigious leagues. The financial situation is shaky since the towns are small, but things have improved in recent years and this league is holding fast.
League eqivelency will be .65

New Mexico/Arizona Fall League
8 teams in single league
No playoffs, team with best winning % declared champion.
Short season fall/winter instructional league centered in the sun washed deserts of NM and AZ. Teams send there best youngsters here to polish their skills to take back to the big clubs. Play is loose and very competive as young stars try and prove themselves on the diamond.
League eqivelency will be .55

Texas League
12 Teams split into two leagues. Top team from each league advances to playoffs.
A league of big hitters and tortured pitchers. This is a pure hitters league. The crowds are big and rowdy and the ball flies a long ways in the dry, warm Texas air. A realtivly new league but quickly rising in status. Centered in medium and small Texas towns this league always draws big crowds packed into stadiums that are quickly expanding.
League eqivelency will be .70

Pacific Coast Organization
12 teams in one league and split into three divisions, division winners and wild card team advance to the playoffs.
The formerly named California league (changed its name after adding a team each in Oregon and Washington) is the oldest league in the WBU. It is quite often called the second major league and for good reason. The play here is just a hair below what you would find in the WBA. Frequent media and player raiding wars exist between the two leagues. The bad blood between the two leagues has subsided in recent years after the WBA president floated a large low interest loan to the PCO to bail it out of financial trouble. This is a pitcher friendly league with low ERAs and high strikeout totals, but there are plenty of superstars at the plate as well.
If you do not play in the WBA, then this is the next best thing.
League eqivelency will be .93

PCO Reserves
12 teams in one league and split into three divisions, division winners and a wild card team advance to the playoffs.
A reserve league of the PCO. Acts much in the same way as the WBA reserve league. It was created a few years after seeing the massive succes of the WBA reserve league. It also acts as the only farm league of the PCO after the PCO lost a court case declaring 'slave leagues' in violation of trade law.
League eqivelency will be .75

Rocky Mountain League
8 teams split into two leagues, league winners
The newest league in the WBU. Formed after the famous court battle against the PCO. Now free to govern itself the teams of the RML have developed a quality but rough style of play. Crowds are adequte though and league officials are confident the league will make it as an independent league.
League eqivelency will be .60

There you have it. All nine leagues of the WBU.
