Fixed.
I forgot that the video editing software had me change the settings in My Computer->Properties->Advanced->Performance(Settings)->Data Execution Prevention. This property had initially been set to the top checkbox (Turn on DEP for essential Windows Programs and services only) and the video software wanted the second checkbox (Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.)
Once I switched it back to the first checkbox, the problem was solved
