Why would that matter one way or the other? This press conference happened less than an hour after the game finished. I really doubt there was any big prep or whatever that he went through beforehand. Plus, as far as I know, Bonds hasn't signed any of his record breaking or milestone balls before, why would (or should) he have changed now?
