I don't know if I would want a perfect historical replay. It kinda would take all the mystery and fun out of the game. I have started a replay in 1901 and I think I'm around 1911 and the replay is no where near being a perfect replication.

In your replay, are you making all the trades that really happened during the seasons and are you assigning rookies to the teams they originally went to?

To me, a perfect historical replay is one where the Yankees don't win 4 or even 5 WS in a row or don't buy the best talent every year and the league has a salary cap to keep the teams competitive. In my replay, Ty Cobb left the Tigers and went to the Giants. I love seeing alternate universes. Personally, I can't wait to import George Ruth as a pitcher 1914 and then import Babe Ruth later as a hitter. I can't to see what Sandy Koufax is going to do with a full career. I'm not even sure I am going to do expansion. I may keep the original 16 and never have a DH. So many choices for the perfect universe...
