I think that's the point...right?
If you start a fictional league, does the game actually think through the "Initial Draft" contracts and ages/talents enough to assign minimum salary to people in their "first 3 years", or arb salaries to those in their 3rd-5th season.
Obviously everyone's in their first season, but does it at least try to make up the right MLB service times based on age to make it somewhat believable?
It's just weird to see a 21 yr old with a big long salary.
The other weird effect of everyoen getting a "real contract"... if a guy's contract ends, and he goes back to arbitration (because he's under 6 years experience), his contract won't actually decrease in $ value, at least in past versions. Since arbitration can't lower salary, he essentially stays at his free agent price until someone releases him.
