Editor's Note:

Thanks, guys, I really appreciate it.

At this point, Bubba just won his first start after the All-Star break...(BOY O'BOY, wait till you hear about THAT!)

11 wins in 84 games is 20 or more for the year. I frankly did not expect him to be anything more than a journeyman starter. I specifically chose Bubba, due to "A" duration, "Durable" for health, and average, average for runs/hits. He has, in the words of my performance evaluations...."exceeded expectations."

The Miami ballclub is SCARY! They have 5 straight pennants, and no signs of slowing down. I looked at their roster, and they have 4 starters with avoid runs of 8 or better, and they are 31 years old and younger...looks like a dynasty to me!

The Cubs have an excellent hitting team, hitting .288 or so, with a league average around .262. They score a lot of runs, about 20 less than the league leader.

I have good talent in the minors, and am tempted to try to get another front line starter....but if I do, Bubba goes back to being the spot starter....not that he would mind

Yeah, you should have seen the wedding....I used my wife's help in that! I mean, what the heck do I know about seed pearls and bodices?

This is mad fun for me to do, thanks for indulging me.
