I say do the trade. Halladay is always getting hurt and Santana is very reliable and is in my opinion better than Roy. Santana will turn it around soon and you will look very good for making this trade.
Worrell is very hot right now, so I get him and flip him to someone else in exchange for a struggling closer who will do better and a position you need. People are always looking for closers, and Worrell is one of the best at this moment, but probably won't last, especially once Benitez comes back and he has the pressure on him to keep the job. Get something for Worrell, but do this trade because Worrell's value is higher than K-Rod's right now, K-Rod is a health risk and shows signs that he may have already burned out or his heading down that path, and Roy is also a health risk.
Santana will give you 15+ wins, a 3.00 or lower ERA, and around 230 or more strikeouts and will not get hurt. He has been a slow starter the past two seasons,
April 04 - 5.40 ERA in 5 Games
May 04-5.79 ERA in 6 Games
April 05-3.55 ERA
He finished under 3 both times and had 20 wins in 04, with just 2 in April and May. He is already showing signs of heating up.
Halladay will probably give you close to 15 wins as well, if he can stay healthy, but his ERA will be higher and he is going to have less strikeouts, because his arm has been so beat up over the years. Take Santana and pray for a Halladay injury worse than the current one.
