Hmm, depending on the OS, don't you guys mean the word "command"? I didn't think "cmd" would do anything in win95/98. Typing in "c:\cmd" would mean there is a program called cmd.exe or cmd.com, a batch file named cmd.bat, or a link to a program/batch file named cmd.exe/com/bat in your C:\ root .

Are you using XP? If yes, maybe there is a 'cmd' program built into that OS (even though XP was supposed to be DOS-less). If you are using XP you may have to get a DOS emulator too, I bet tons of XP users here know a lot more about this than I do though.
