May 29th-June 1st - 4 game series in New Orleans
The Jethawks visited their arch-enemy for a four game series from May 29th to June 1st. Cristobal Cuevas coming off a disappointing week, tries to get coach to play him more! "put me in coach, I wanna play, today..."
May 29th:
The JetHawks go down in a barnburner. Losing to New Orleans on a 2-run homerun in the bottom of the 11th. Only able to must out 1 run on 5 hits, the JetHawks lose a heartbreaker.

May 30th:
The JetHawks got things going early with a 5-run first inning, which included a 3-run homerun by Johnnie Shipton. With a tough leftie getting the start for the Crawdads Cuevas was on the bench to start the game. In the top of the 9th he came in as a pinch hitter and drew a walk. He finished out the game in left-field.

May 31st:
The JetHawks were able to jump out ahead early again, and thanks to Cristobal Cuevas 2-run single in the 6th, they were able to hold off a late charge by the Crawdads.

June 1st:
With a chance to win their 1st ever series from the Crawdads, the JetHawks feel short. Going up against one of the top pitchers in the game Paul Lis, the JetHawks were unable to get anything going. With 2-outs in the 5th Cuevas followed a walk to Kent Cohen with a run-scoring double and the only JetHawk highlight.
