Or you could look up the history of each team name example being Saratoga went official in 1956 but there was a sawmill around there in 1848 so they could be called the Saratoga Woodsmen or Saratoga Sawmen.

Thanks for the advice, uk. I was planning on doing that (look up the history... actually did a little already... I hadn't known Los Altos Hills and Monte Sereno were officially their own towns), but I haven't really gotten around to it yet. Maybe this weekend.
