Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending the alleged conduct, just questioning the current practice of not waiting for the investigation to be completed.

No, no one has been convicted yet. They are waiting for the results of DNA testing I believe. The DA is adament that a rape occured, but he has political motives. The team captains maintain that the team is completely innocent and no sexual interaction, let alone rape occured.
EDIT: Innocent of the rape accusations, that is. Obviously, underage drinking went on.
