understand all non-online aspects, I have played solo a lot).
I hit "search" for this but never really saw an "online newbie help"
thread. So here goes...

1) I want to start an online OOTP5 league for a few family members who
are all complete newbies to the game, have time limitations, but are
all intrigued and are all big baseball fans. I'm probably looking at 6
players. I'll figure out the rules on how to handle that.

2) In order to have them ease their way into this, I will do all the
simming on my computer on Sunday. Plus, my gut tells me to avoid the
confusion of uploading/downloading files each week, so I'll have all
trades, roster moves handled over email or a forum during the week. I
doubt that this is going to be an intense group. A few might get really
into it, while a couple others might just want the computer to run
their teams and just peek in once in a while to see how their team is
doing - which is fine as we are just doing this for a hoot.

3) I need them to be able to look at a league file whenever they want, so
they can look at stats, standings, rosters, etc. Can I just email them
a file, or can I upload it to a webpage for them to look at? Can I do
the webpage idea for free or what is a cheap way to do it?

4) emailing each other is fine, but is there a free (or at least cheap)
forum that I can create for this?

Again, this is a REALLY simple league. What's the easiest, cheapest way
for a group of newbies to play this together? Hopefully I'll get them
hooked and you can get them for your serious leagues later.

Thanks!
I will start by saying that (as others have told me!!) use the search function to answer questions.

I would also say that you should take one step at a time.

It is cool that you want to do this...but focus first on familiarizing yourself with the game.

No offense...but you don't reallt have the cabability to do what you want to at this point.

I would be more than willing to help you through the steps., if you can't find answers for yourself.
