from the Richmond Courier, September 9, 1903:
President Pritchard announced the formation of a blue-ribbon commission to investigate the bombing of the Confederate Embassy in Mexico City last month. Selected to head the commission is the President of William & Mary College, Mr. Woodrow Wilson. The staid Wilson, said to be a possible candidate for the governor's seat of his native Virginia in the next election, was quoted as saying, "This solemn responsibility is one I will discharge with all the energy in my being. The truth will be found, and the perpertrators brought to justice..."
