Davis seats and occasionally use those seats for games against the Yankees, Giants, playoffs, etc. Should the A's reach a WS, those seats would be filled ... albeit at a hefty premium.

It's new for this year. Dumb move if you ask me. I always liked sitting in the upper deck and it was fun having an entire section to myself. "Fan friendly" my ass - they just want to make it look more full.
And they're not even opening the upper deck for big series like the Yankees and Giants, which is why Opening Day sold out so fast. Sucks because I'm going to be in town April 1 - 4.
