Bump
Oakland and Toronto still open with one month left in the season.
Oakland is sitting pretty leading the AL West division by 9 games with the leagues 2nd best record at 91-42. A playoff team that is good enough to win a world series.
Toronto needs a little more work currently in 4th place at 59-74, 23.5 games behind the Yankees. The team could go in a few directions. They look like they should pull in about 71-72.0 mil in revenue this year (with 14.3 in cash) and have a current payroll 69.2 mil. 8 player contracts are up at the end of this season (approx 31.0 mil of the current payroll). A new GM would have about 52.7 availble for contract extensions...or could start a rebuild with a team in solid financial shape to do so.
