Interestingly, I checked the bosi_player tables through phpmyadmin and I had no idea BOSI stored dead players still. There are many players that do not exist anymore but have BOSI IDs and negative OOTP IDs.

But I found about 6 records of a player with a separate BOSI ID and the same OOTP ID (-3029). The same player was also in the positives, OOTP ID #3029 despite not existing anymore. So I killed all those records hoping it would help. The general info still doesn't import, and now when I import I get...

"For batting/pitching stats, could not find a player record for OOTP Player ID #3029"
