VANCOUVER – Hasim Rahman dominated a tentative and overmatched Jack Boylan tonight, controlling the bout and dropping Boylan for the count in the 8th round. Boylan, who many thought would give Rahman a stiff challenge, never seemed to find his stride. Rahman, for his part, showed the skills that make him one of the top heavyweights in the UoLBA, and a prime challenger for the crown.

On the undercard, Joe Coburn continued his climb up the ranks, Decisioning a surprisingly tough Charlie O’Donnell to remain undefeated. Joe Goss, another top 20 fighter, retired C.C. Smith on cuts in a six round beating that fully displayed Goss’ superior skills.
