He may very well suck, but he has played under 100 minutes since being drafted. Brown had it out for him from the time he became coach.
No young player can suceed in that kind of enviroment.
He was an excellent player in Europe (the same Europe that whipped the hell out of the US in international play)
There is no reason to think he will not make something of a usefull NBA player
It is just going to take a different enviroment for the stigma of the Brown era to be erased.

I'll agree with you on some points, disagree on others.
Brown rarely plays rookies much. That's been well publicized. Yeah, it probably hurt Darko's career and the perception of his abilities. But I would think that at this point he would have shown his value to the new staff and would get more time if he had the skills. I'm not sure how much of that is due to Brown or not.
As for the Europe vs. US thing in the Olympics, it really is a different game. I don't know enough about basketball to show how well it translates. If the teams played each other with US rules and court regulations, who knows what would happen? Not to say the Europeans are inferior, just that I don't know how much to take out of the Olympics showing. Plus, all the stuff about continuity of the teams and whatnot.
