I agree about the saved games. Mind you, it won't be as big an issue with 2006...the #1 reason I wanted saved games was for when real life intruded and I had to deal with the screen saver problem, which is now a thing of the past.
Still...it would be useful, and I like MD's idea of being able to try out different things in a particular scenario.
