September sees a changeover in Universe of Leather Boxing Association hosting venues. The three new venues will have exclusive rights to host all UoLBA fights for the balance of 1890. Forbes Field in Pittsburgh has won the right to host UoLBA's premiere fight card for each of the next 4 months; Vancouver's Exhibition Gardens will get the second tier card, and Scammon Street in Scammon, Kansas, will host the third.

Forbes Field is happy to announce the signing of 2nd ranked Heavyweight John C. Heenan 25-1-0 (23) to the top of September's fight card. 8th ranked Leroy Jones 20-1-1 (6) will be the Benicia Boy's foe in the match. Other bouts:

#5 Tommy Chandler 21-1-2 (13) vs. #49 Dan McCarty 16-3-2 (1)

The Main Event at Vancouver's Exhibition Gardens is an exciting contest between two top ranked heavies, as 4th Ranked Hasim Rahman 23-1-0 (19) squares off against 12th ranked Jack Boylan (21-1-0) (3).
