What's there not to be serious about? The bogus holding call was probably just as big as the Big Ben TD. The Seahawks went from being 1st and Goal on the 1 to throwing a gamebreaking INT (and another bogus penalty). No holding penalty means no INT and no second bogus penalty. It also means no Randle El TD pass as a result of the INT/bogus penalty. From the 1 it's likely that the Seahawks score at least 3, if not 7.

At this point in the game, the momentum was clearly in Seattle's favor. The holding penalty, which was incorrect, changed everything. Period.

Even if you allow Big Ben's TD, take away Randle El's TD pass, and the Seahawks only muster 3, it's only a 14-13 PIT victory (much closer than 21-10). But, given the momentum at the time, I think Seattle was likely to score a TD and probably not lose the progress they were making.
