could make for a better story - and don't take this the wrong way, Jazz - if the Cubs go on and lose in the playoffs in a calamitous way, before
then winning next year.
Just think how sweet it would be for Jazzington if he had to go through a letdown like losing in a Game 7, and all the junk people would throw at him, like he's "a bad manager" etc., before winning next year for the Cubbies.
So if they don't win, that would be the way I'd love it to turn out. But what do I know, huh? I'm only an enthralled reader
