I just bought a Dell notebook computer (1.5 Celeron processor, 256 MB RAM, 30 GB hard drive) but it seems to run OOTP4 slower than my 700 mhz desktop w/ 192 MB RAM.

I'm also running Windows XP, and was hoping someone could "guide" me through the msconfig program -- what programs are safe to turn off, etc. Any advice would be appreciated.
