It's really hard to prove this anecdotally, I've seen a lot of players that seem to reinforce this theory as well, but I don't think it gains any credibility without a 50-season kind of study.
A few people have done clutch studies for the regular season, its too bad none of them simmed out the postseason and found a way to compile those stats into something.
I have a sneaky suspicion that "Clutch" is far more important than people believe in the postseason.
