You're certainly entitled to tout that if you feel it makes a big difference, makes you feel better, whatever. Other than guys from the Lahman import, which is what I started from, I created all the minor leaguers and anyone else, including draftees, etc. "from scratch," so believe me, you don't need to tell me how much work it takes.
But with that said, I sure as hell wouldn't expect someone wanting to do a full minor league set with the depth of TotalMinors to delete all the guys I created and re-enter the names, positions, ht/wt, etc. and assign them to the teams when I already had all of that done. That would just be silly, time-consuming nonsense, which I guess is why I never made a big deal about the "from scratch" thing. The depth of my ratings were what made the set what it was, not the extraneous stuff that didn't impact the game at all.
Anyway, it's a moot point. I just hope people give credit where appropriate, and I leave it at that.
