as for Betancourt and Hernandez, BA is one of the last sites i would use to get info on a player...now granted, im not saying that his defense is bad, its not, but i dont see ozzie in any part of that player...i dont even see Vizquel....i watched him commit 6 errors in 12 games that i saw him in and 1 was a throwing error that should have been an error on the 1b, but the other 5 were all simple routine grounders and an exchange error with the San Antonio 2b at the time...he has some range, ill say that much. I dont know how old you are, any of you, but keep in mind the scouting reports on a player named Jose Offerman and he consistantly reached 30 errors in fact i think he lead the league in errors one year. Betancourt would benefit with a move to 2b but knowing Melvin and Bavasi, they will keep him there and become frustrated over the simple plays being booted.
What on earth are you talking about man? Betancourt at 2B? Baseball America as the LAST place you would look at? It's univerally agreed upon as the premier site for minor league baseball mate. No wonder you're minor leagues are so horrendous.......

Also, you're so wrong on Betancourt it's not even funny. Anyway......

I had a look over the rosters....universally terrible, but like you say it's a work in progress. I understand you're doing this for free, but to pretend that it's any way a facsimile of MLB and it's players is ludicrous.

I don't have time to start on the complete lack of accuracy in the Mariners roster, this is after all a team in your own divison, so let's take for example, the LA Dodgers.

You're top prospects for the Dodgers are:

Ruggiano; Dunlap: Sprout: Miller; Pedroza; La Roche; Ethier; Robinson; Young: Guzman ?

Here are at least 7 propsects who you missed who are all in the top 10 of the BEST minor league system in basbeball.

Russel Martin C; Johnathon Broxton RHP; Scott Elbert LHP; Blake DeWitt 3B; Matt Kemp OF; Etanislou Abreu 2B; Chin-Hung LU SS. You could also throw in there, James Loney 1B; Chuck Tiffany LHP and Willy Aybar 2B.

Did you pick names out of a hat here? I mean this only the top 10 prospects in baseball's no.1 minor league system! How bad are the players outside the top 10?!?

On the major league roster, players who are no longer or have never been with the Dodgers.......ahh forget it, you can see for yourselves.

You're doing a lot of work, and it's a crappy job, but you better start getting some help, which I'm sure people here would do for free, or I'll buy you a subscripiton to Baseball America or send you the new Jon Sickels prospect book for xmas. I'm afraid what you have in your minor leagues at the moment is pretty close to fictional.
