Maximum Football soon to be out by Matrix Games looks awesomely sweet,and I guess its not quite a text sim because it will actually implement 3D graphics! Unfortunately it's only a one man project so it has taken two years to get it where it is now.It's in final stages of beta and hopefully Gold by X-Mas.But I'm definately excited because it's a sim WITH graphics and you can design infinite playbooks,the usual player ratings+,all the stuff in any other Pro Football Game,you can also set up your league how you want it.even the rules,ex. CFL rules, NFL rules,Arena League, or your very own.

You need to dig through the other great games they have to find it also there forums has some good info.
The community is nothing compared to OOTP but whose is?LOL
